Briccola-ge Corner Desk and Shelf in solid Oak Wood and black lacquered brackets
About the Item
“The corner is a piece of home mistreated. A dead end with no way out. In every reality, in every culture, the corner is never dutifully considered”…. So, between the serious and the facetious, Miki Astori explains the project of Briccola-ge, a two- story practical and poetic work plan or small console where to operate in transitory moments.
The wall hanging supports are in a mass-colored wooden technical material.
The tops are made of solid oak strips with inserts of Briccola Veneziana, the old wooden dolphins coming from the Venice lagoon and used to berth the famous "gondola" boats, and now re-used in high-end carpentry .
At the corner there is a small bevel to allow the passage of the electric charging cables.

Our mission is to create design icons, suitable for furnishing the homes of sophisticated and international clients. Our expressive research is inspired by the Scandinavian design, the Bauhaus, the Italian architects of the '50s as well as ethnic handcraft, houses of famous writers of the XX century, suspended between present, past and future; the artists who wrote the code of modernity, as Mondrian, Sonia Delaunay, Moholy Nagy, Brancusi and the graphic genius of Escher. We love trips to far lands, starting from Argentina, Laura's birthplace, where our dream started. From there comes the name Colé, tied to a common memory: an element of color which makes us smile just thinking about it.
