Virgin in the Garden, 17th-19th Century

About the Item

An assemblage made of several individual elements. A pair of early 19th century of gold gilded carved wood Russian columns. 18th Century carved wood painted, and gold gilded Japanese panel. Late 17th century German, carved wood praying Virgin Mary standing on a globe, around which is coiled a snake with an apple in its mouth. Late 19th century Spanish solid gold and Ivory Rosary. The pieces are mounted together on a Lucite panel framed with a contemporary double wooden frame.
