Vintage 2.60 Carat Diamond and Pearl Platinum Drop Earrings Circa 1950

About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive pair of vintage 2.60 carat diamond and pearl, platinum drop earrings; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections These stunning, fine and impressive, large pearl drop earrings have been crafted in platinum. Each earring displays an impressive feature cultured pearl, held within a sepal shaped setting. The sepal settings are each accented with six pavé set eight cut diamonds, one to each segment. This detachable floral design suspends from an articulated linear drop, consisting of four individually claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. This arrangement joins the nadir of a platinum asymmetric foliate design, ornamented with fine and impressive pavé set eight cut diamonds. The articulated drops may be removed via a discreet hook to the reverse of the setting; this allows the pieces to be utilised as day and night earrings. These earrings for non-pierced ears secure to the reverse of the paired-leaf setting with a hinged clip-on fastening. These long pearl drop earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. These impressive pearl earrings are supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition These stunning drop earrings are excellent quality, set with fine and impressive diamonds to the leaf design displaying a fine white color and brilliance. The impressive diamonds to the drop and terminal display a fine white color and presence. The earrings are set with pearls displaying a fine color and lustre. These earrings are an excellent gauge of platinum and are in excellent condition.
