Victorian Etruscan Revival Lapis Lazuli 14 Karat Yellow Gold Swagged Necklace
About the Item
Necklace features a swagged central station with twisted wire terminating as two rams' heads. With textured horns and fur - suspending a lapis lazuli teardrop shaped bead from a floral surmount. Measuring 11.0 x 22.0 mm - opaque ultramarine blue with gray mottling and subtle pyrite flecking. Accented by well matched round and teardrop lapis lazuli beads throughout. Completed by spring clasp closure. Tested as 14 karat gold. Circa: 1890's. Length: 18 1/2 inches. Station measures: 1 3/16 x 2 1/2 inches. Total weight: 8.7 grams. Celestial. Aries. Zodiac.
