About the Item
This very contemporary aquamarine and sterling silver 16.5" necklace is designed and made by London jeweler, Lucy Martin. The design playfully balances an aquamarine cabochon with a faceted aquamarine. Lucy creates art jewelry with a unique sense of color, composition and asymmetry. Inspired by travel and architecture each piece is handcrafted in recycled metals using traditional hand fabrication techniques to produce sleek, wearable art jewelry with character.
The work of jewelry maker Lucy Martin has been selected by internationally renowned contemporary jewelry expert and curator Bryna Pomp who searches the world for outstanding precious metal jewelry that defines contemporary through its innovative design and craftsmanship.
