About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive 1.20 carat ruby and 1.54 carat diamond, 18 karat rose gold dress ring; part of our diverse vintage jewellery collections This stunning, fine and impressive antique ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k rose gold with an platinum setting. The pierced decorated, platinum setting is ornamented with a stunning feature 1.20 ct cushion cut ruby, claw set to the centre of the arrangement. The ruby is encircled by ten pave set Old European cut diamonds. The elevated ring shoulders are ornamented with two pavé set Old European cut diamonds and blend seamlessly with the hallmarked ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the exterior of the shank with the French import mark for platinum (masked man) and gold (owl); these marks are used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office. This stunning ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold and platinum. This impressive antique ring is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card. This impressive Thai ruby and diamond ring is supplied with a ruby report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*. NOTE: * This documentation accredits the ruby originating in Thailand/Cambodia and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of hgeating; non-heated rubies are a scarcity.
