Antique 1.10 Carat Pear-Shaped Diamond Solitaire Ring, circa 1900s
About the Item
This stunning Edwardian engagement ring features a pear shaped old cut diamond, set within a beautiful platinum mount. The centre stone has a weight of 1.10 carat and is a H in colour and SI1 in clarity. The stone has been independently certified by EDR, the European Diamond Reporting company. It is claw set, allowing the diamond to really reflect in the light and show off it's wonderful shape. It is highlight by diamond shoulders on the band, which match in terms of colour and clarity. They are grain set within the shoulders and elongate the band to show off the high set diamond. It is a beautiful engagement ring and is also made to fit a wedding band, which is a rarity of the era.
