A fine English sterling silver diminutive cup or shot glass. By the contemporary English silversmith Adrian Gerald Sallis Benney. This work is marked with a hallmark for 1950, which is very early in the work-life of Gerald Benney. Simply an outstanding example of early work from an artist that would later be recognized as one of England's foremost silversmiths! Date: 1950 Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
