This is a vintage fur hat designed by James McQuay. McQuay called himself "The Black Furrier" because he became one of, if not the only, African-American furrier in New York City, HIs hats were featured in many films and his coats and hats were worn by many celebrities. His pieces are rare and we are happy to offer this beautiful vintage hat from his salon. The hat measures 24 inches in circumference and was made in New York.
