About

A pair of metallic silver boots designed for Jean Paul Gaultier by Massaro Paris. The inspiration behind the design were football boots and the idea of extending the height.

The boots were designed for the Spring/Summer 1993 runway show and are truly one offs. This idea transitioned into black patent leather heels with the same heel. This pair of boots is thought to be the original prototype.

Massaro also made shoes for Elizabeth Taylor, the Kennedy family, Duchess of Windsor and every movie star in between. Massaro also work every season with the house of CHANEL and are also responsible for creating the iconic black-and-beige pump. Each shoe at Massaro is hand made and takes over 40 hours to make. In the 90s Massaro was designing all the footwear for Thierry Mulger and Jean Paul Gaultier.

These shoes are truly One of a Kind and would look amazing as a sculpture to display or if your brave enough to wear them!
