About

Circa 1940/1950 France Rare pair of collector's shoes in new condition and wooden wedge heels painted in red, dating from the 1940s. Black leather upper with cutout in the shape of scales and original red laces. Cream vinyl lining and sole bearing the numbers 16589 and handwritten in ink 635 as well as an illegible stamp. This pair of shoes comes from the stock of a store in the South West of France which has remained closed for over 60 years. Presented with original cardboard box. Noted size 37 under the wooden heels. No flaw. Excellent condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: size 37 France rather corresponding to a 36 today. Length 23 cm, vamp 12 cm. Heel height behind 8 cm, heel height in front of 3 cm.
