About

This is a striking cotton coat from the 1920s with Indian crewelwork embroidery done in wool. The floral motifs are done in bright, warm earth tones and worked in chain stitch, giving them a beautiful texture and weight. The l simple cut of the silhouette provides a perfect canvas for the embroidery and keeps it from overwhelming the wearer. Few minor blemishes and marks which don't really come through in photos.
