About

Chestnut brown silk lined open cape made from velvety vicuna wool.

The cape is in great condition with only a few very small marks in the fabric.

Could be paired with a brooch or a clothing pin for closure or simply left to rest on the shoulders. Would also be complimented nicely by a fall plaid dress or A-Line skirt as well as a pair of knee high riding boots.

Vicuna wool is a rarely used material in clothing as a result of the protection the government of Peru has put on the Vicuna llama as well as the fact that the animal can only be shorn once every three years.

Vicuna wool is softer than cashmere and is also coveted for its warmth. Vicuna is extremely expensive, going for between $1800 and $3000 US dollars per yard.
