Wonderful early 70’s large Gucci light cotton stole beautifully patterned with the iconic “Flora” print. Designed by artist Vittorio Accornero, this legendary print was originally commissioned by Rodolfo Gucci to create an original scarf to be given to Princess Grace of Monaco during her visit to the store with her husband in 1966. The result is a thrilling colourful floral pattern featuring nine bouquets of flowers from all four seasons, gracefully surrounded with butterflies, dragonflies, insects and berries... The Flora motif, symbol of continuity from the Gucci archive, is timeless, wearable all year round. This piece will really make a fabulous addition to any wardrobe. Additionally, the cotton is very light so perfect for travels as it folds down quite small.
