About the Item
Here's an incredibly rare and absolutely GORGEOUS vintage coat from Ronald Amey, with fabric attributed to Tzaims Luksus, who launched his own wool and silk textile and design studio in the mid 1960s. We emailed the Tzaims Luksus archive and while they suspect the fabric is Tzaims Luksus, they were unable to absolutely confirm via our photos. Tzaims fabulous textiles are hard to find and highly sought after due to their artistry and high quality. Made from super soft mohair wool and magenta silk, the mohair wool pattern is abstract and geometric in style.
Fully-lined with oversized shaggy front pockets, this coat fastens with black faceted buttons in front and features a magenta pleated silk collar. Rare and stunning.
Made in the USA. Dry clean only. No size tag but we are estimating this to best fit a modern size 6, based upon these measurements, taken flat and doubled where appropriate: shoulders - 17in, bust - 39in, waist - 35in, hips - 47in, shoulder to hem - 42in.
Preowned, vintage with minimal signs of prior use and wear.
