About

Love the bright happy color on this stunning silk twill shift dress from the Mr Blackwell ready to wear line. It is impeccably made and an easy to wear day dress that can easily get style for early cocktails. It is also a great vintage piece that would translate well for modern office wear - something hard to do sometimes! The silk is a good grade and the colors fresh and vibrant. Short cap sleeves are balanced with that charming rolled neckline that has attached wide ties to create a jaunty Mad Men-esque side tie. Just a hint of intake at the waist and the skirt skims the hip and stays lean to the knees. Wonderful piece and in excellent condition!

Shoulders: 15" from seam to seam

Bust: 18" flat across the back from side seam to side seam

Waist: 15" flat across the back from side seam to side seam

Hips: 18" flat across the back from side seam to side seam

Length: 39" from mid back at the neck to bottom hem

The dress is fully lined in silky yellow rayon and closes with a back painted metal zipper. It should be dry cleaned when cleaned again in the future.
