1960s Natural Linen Vintage Handwoven Folk Dress W Fringe & Pink Applique Trim
About the Item
This one of a kind vintage dress came from an estate of collectible higher end ethnic folk clothing from Mexico, Central America and South America from the 1960's and 1970s. We have never seen anything quite like this particular vintage dress! The dress is made of a natural linen with the unwoven yarn in vertical panels separated by horizontal strips of linen with pink ribbon. The dress has pink appliques on the sleeves and has rows of topstitched ribbon in pink and cream on the bodice and some subtle rows of eyelet lace at the shoulders where they meet the sleeves. We love the knotted fringed yarn that forms the hem of the dress! The dress closes with a back zipper and we estimate this to fit a size 6. Please review the measurements for the best fit!
