This is a gorgeous 2 piece Yves Saint Laurent vintage ensemble in a jewel tone print. This YSL Rive Gauche outfit is in as new condition and was made in France in the late 1970's or early 1980's. The fabric is a common one that YSL used in his dresses and skirts, a lightweight wool or wool blend, and sleeves are similar to a dolman but have a seam at the shoulders. Since there are slightly drop shoulders, the sleeve measurement might seem shorter than you are used to, but it is buttoned at the wrist when worn. The skirt is pleated with a side zipper. Both pieces are labeled a French size 38, and, though I would estimate this to be a modern day 6, please use the measurements as a guide.
