This unusual long festival dress or vest was designed by Char, Charlotte Blankenship de Vasquez, in the early 1970s. Made from tan suede leather, it features whip stitching and leather floral inserts at the bottom hem and waist ties. So chic - it reminds us of something we'd see at Coachella. Unlined. In excellent condition for its age, we note one or two pencil-eraser sized spots (see image 10 for example), punched holes without whip stitching to the suede sections above the wrap ties and residue to the inside collar where the designers label was once located. No size tag, but we're estimating this as a modern size small. Note that this piece fastens with wrap tie at the waist, so it can be worn loose as a vest or cinched tight as an open dress over leggings and a top. It measures, taken flat and doubled where appropriate: bust - 34", waist - 26", hips - 35", length - 55.5"
