Spectacular vintage JAMES PURCELL demi couture silk little black dress! Sharp strapless neckline, that is uber flattering on the shoulders! So much attention to detail was implemented on this amazing gem! Heavy attention to detail and hand-sewn finishings, which Purcell was well know for. Intricate stitching on the bodice, with a bodycon fit skirt. Hidden zipper up the back with snap closure detail. Fully lined, with boning and built-in interior support. Couture quality! Truly a wonderful piece that is a timeless addition to any wardrobe...this WILL be your new go to little black dress! James Purcell was a leading designer of the 1980s/1990s. His designs were sold at every high-end department store/boutique, including Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Barneys, Martha's of Palm Beach, Sakowitz in Houston, just to name a few. Retailed for $2,500 in the early 90s. Great with a belt, or alone. Pairs well with wedges, heels or boots. Never worn, and from original owner. Made in USA. Approximately Size Small Measurements: 16 inches from underarm to underarm (keep in mind the strapless style) 26 inch waist 38 inch hips
