1960s medium-weight silk shift dress in a beautiful shade of pink. The construction features a yoke at top that extends over the shoulders to form cap sleeves. The simple straight shape below has slight gathers under the yoke, hidden pockets in the seams, and a back zipper. Interior is fully lined and has weight at center neck for gentle fold. Henri Bendel, one of NY's most fashion forward department stores of the period, was known for its private label goods, many made by the top designers of the day, as exhibited in this dress.
