About the Item
This is a such a great 1980's wool knit two-piece deep fuchsia or magenta pink dress by Norma Walters. We discovered Norma Walters years ago when we bought a high end estate of mainly 1980's clothing. We fell in love with her designs and the quality of workmanship in her pieces. The details are always exceptional, and this dress is a good example of that! The cuffed sleeves of the top are ribbed and there is lovely pleating at the shoulder, which continues all the way down to the hem. This effect makes the dress look like it has a vest and an under layer. The skirt has two slits, an elastic waistband and the same pleat detail on the front right and back left side. The shoulders are nicely structured with shoulder pads.
This dress has no closures and it is made of 100% Wool. Labeled a size 6, and we estimate this would best fit a modern 6 as well.
You get two great separates with this outfit that can be worn together or on their own! We know that once you own something she designed, you will become a passionate Norma Walters fan!
