Valentino Black Long Sleeve Crêpe Back-Button Peplum Shift Dress - L, 1980s

Searching for a failsafe day dress that can take you from conference to cocktails? Look no further: with just enough feminine details (like back buttons and a half peplum) to make you feel like a woman, this dress also offers the no-nonsense length, sleeves and weight to show you mean business. A work horse AND a play horse.
Long sleeve day dress with square front neckline and gently gathered shoulders and waist; lightly padded shoulders. 4 ¼” long peplum around full circumference except at center waist; faux patch pockets below peplum at each hip, and on-seam pockets both sides. Rear buttoning closure with snap at rear neck; two matching buttons at each wrist. Interior grosgrain waistband strap with center rear hook and eye closure; lined from waist to hem in black acetate.
