Victoria Falls Sheer Beige Midi Dress and Slip

About the Item

Rena Gill's famed Soho boutique, Victoria Falls, was first known for its collection of Victorian "whites" after it opened in the mid 1970s, and gradually Gill began designing and selling new clothing with a vintage look, like this 1980s midi dress that recalls the 1930s. The loose-fitting dress is made of a sheer rayon material in a greenish beige, the skirt solid and the bodice with a faint horizontal stripe. The dress features a large pointed collar that is separated by a plain central neckline front and back, a seamed wide waist, and short raglan sleeves; the skirt has a narrow front pleat and a back vent. Underneath is a lingerie slip in tan (B: 36"; H: 37"; L: 48").
