1930's Champagne-Pink Silk Floral Bias-Cut Applique Gown & Asymmetric Bolero

About

The breathtaking champagne-pink textured silk satin fabric used for this custom couture 1930's French dress ensemble has an ethereal quality that I find irresistible! The bodice has an elegant draped-cowl neckline and unique 3-dimensional floral applique. The skirting is added in pointed inset seamed pieces typical of the time period and insanely hard to do on bias-cut fabric. This figure flattering garment accentuates the bust, skims the hip and flares out below the knee in classic "Old Hollywood" style. The stylized charm of the matching asymmetric jacket personify the feminine ideal in clothing. One side has a cropped bolero construction while the other acts like a stole. A unique antique ensemble perfect for any modern event!
