About

Breathtaking late 1950's Luis Estévez vibrant yellow ruched goddess gown in a rich silk-chiffon. Starting out at Patou in Paris, Estévez went on to design under his own name to great acclaim in 1955. He was considered one of the brilliant young designers in the class of Galanos, Scaasi and Sarmi. This beautiful gown has all the characteristics that make his designs so desirable. The bodice is a seductive low-cut plunge boned nipped-waist strapless. This figure flattering garment accentuates the bust and skims the hips as it flows to the floor in a classic hourglass style. The backside is unbelievable; a draped full-length train fit for a princess. As Estévez said: "When I review my career, the first thing that comes to mind are my many fashion firsts and my talent's built-in drive to doing things as they had never been done before." I totally see this couture showstopper gliding down the red carpet!
