1960s Robert Dorland Pink Sequin and Beaded Mini Dress
About the Item
I really love the simplicity and cut of this 1960s Robert Dorland dress. The unusual sequin and beaded arrangement which runs along the neckline and skirt hem reminds me of the shape of a candle flame. The design also individually features in the composition together with scattered singular glass tear-drop beads. It has a high boat neckline and a simple shoulder strap. The shape is very much the same to the reverse. It fastens with the original metal zip and hook and eye. The material is a bright pink, medium weight rayon, crepe-like fabric.
Robert Dorland was a quality British brand throughout the 1950s and 1960s and this would have retailed in an upmarket department store. It is lined in a pink acetate and will fit up to a UK size 10 or US 6. In great vintage condition, no issues of any note.
