1970s Gina Fratini Ombre Silk Glitter Gown with Train

Buyer Protection Guaranteed

A Gina Fratini bluish gray ombre silk chiffon evening gown fabricated from three interconnected layers and embellished with allover silver glitter in a geometric pattern. The romantic feel of the dress is based in its unique elements and fabric-dying technique but essentially, it a light grey silk spaghetti strap bandeau bodice dress underneath a blouson capelet sewn into the waist (and forming drapey sleeves) and a double layer silk skirt terminating in a train at the back. Employing the Ombré technique, the skirt is dip dyed to gradually shift color - from slate gray to a light and watery hue. There is a zipper closure at the back, hook and eye as well as two long ties to fasten the cape. Overall good condition with some areas of wear to the chiffon and some minor holes in the long back train - probably where someone's heel went through the fabric. And some minor glitter loss throughout. There is no size tag so please consult the measurements. Gown is cut on the bias and has some stretch so there will be some room in the measurements.
