About

In this gorgeous "Scaasi" designer dress, the detailed construction and meticulous attention to detail are comparable to what you will find in modern haute-couture. Arnold Scaasi was an acclaimed fashion designer who created gowns for such notable personalities as Joan Crawford, Lauren Bacall and Elizabeth Taylor. I adore the vibrant emerald-green silk color and low-cut plunge scoopneck strapless. The silhouette reminds me of a modern flirty femme-fatale. The skirt has a perfect amount of avant-garde ruffle without being so over-bearing. As Scaasi himself once said, "If a woman wears a Scaasi dress, she'll be noticed; that's the kind of dress to make an entrance in. The dress will be flattering and make you feel good. That's the major thing, they should perk you up. They should uplift you, not just cover your body."
