Vintage Peach & Gold Beaded Sheer Evening Dress W Draping w Boutique Label
About the Item
This is an absolutely exquisite vintage peach and gold beaded sleeveless evening dress. This stunning vintage dress was purchased at the high end Claire Dratch boutique in Washington, DC in the 1990's. This dress has beautiful beadwork all along the neckline that extends down to the end of the waist and starts again near the hem. The top layer of silk is striped with a thin metallic gold thread going vertically down the dress. Each stripe alternates between satin silk and raw matte silk. The bead work is all vertical, except for the neckline and there is a back slit. There are some hook and eye closures and a metal zipper down the center back seam for closure. We find that dresses like these, in good condition, are getting harder to find so we always grab them whenever we can! Keep in mind that our mannequin is exceptionally tall, so this should be at the ankle for people of average height.
We estimate this dress would best fit a modern day US size 8/10, but since sizes vary so much from various manufacturers, we encourage you to review the measurements for the best fit.
