An Edwardian Reception dress with train in silk and lace - Circa 1905

Majestic long-tail reception or dinner dress dating from the Belle Epoque. High waist with raised officer collar, long sleeves and faux bolero open on a large black grosgrain belt ending in a point on the loins. Work of the bustier in between-two lace, cornély embroidery and trimmings of yellow silk ribbons. In the back, large integrated shawl collar matching the ribbon of the belt. Long adjoining skirt in silk crepe applied with satin ribbons, asymmetrically draped and loaded with flowers in bubbly ribbons. Bronze satin lining. Closure in the back with hooks and zipper added later. Cream cotton lining of the bustier. No defect. Very good condition of textile antiquity.
Dimensions: Mannequiné on size 36 France. High 150 cm, back height 201 cm, shoulders 40 cm, collar height 7 cm, sleeves 62 cm, chest 87 cm, waist 72 cm, hips 102 cm.
