A French Taffeta Silk Ball Gown - France Charles X Period Circa 1825

France Charles X Period
Fashioned ball gown from the early Romantic silhouette period with its dropped shoulders and small mutton long sleeves. Light damask pale pink silk fabric with garlands of stylized flowers. High-waisted bodice, finely pleated on the chest and V-shaped cut in the back decorated with a piping belt forming a trim in the back. Large round skirt with three pink satin piping bulges to the bottom. No ling except a white cotton at the bodice. No default. Excellent condition and color.
