A 1970's Galanos masterpiece approx. circa Spring 1974. This elegant dress was for Galanos's exclusive collaboration with the Beverly Hills luxury boutique, Amelia Gray. The red silk georgette gives an airy, lightweight feel to the straight silhouette with layers that create soft, fluid drape with an ethereal feel. A full button-down front is framed with contrasting deep blue piping trim. At the upper chest, an oversized self-fabric flower sits at the shoulder. Sleeveless with clean neckline, the dress maintains a balance between simplicity and statement. This piece embodies timeless sophistication—graceful, feminine, and quietly bold.
