About the Item

Absolutely ravishing black tie gown attributed to Lorena Sarbu. The plunging neckline draws the eye to the intricate bodice composed of beautiful black lace overlaid against a beige chiffon bodice. The delicate lace features swirling florals with net and eyelash detail and soutache embroidery for depth and texture. The sultry, skin-baring bodice is anchored by dainty cap sleeves. The skirt consists of a gorgeous mermaid silhouette that elegantly flares into a floor-sweeping train in a black twill weave and horsehair lined at the hem to hold the structure of the train. Sultry and sophisticated. This gown is missing it's label, but it came from Lorena Sarbu's personal archive. Excellent condition. Best fits a US 4.
