Gianfranco Ferre's highly architectural avant garde creation, designed with an art deco influence, is truly unique and imaginative in an amazing innovative and structurally breathtaking design
Garment consists of 2 pieces; a lace bodice with hints of purple stretch lace showered with beadwork and Swarovski crystal pins. Back zipper closure. Skirt artfully constructed with asymmetric overlaping panels. A nude net attachment to skirt serves a lining for the bodice and skirt. The bodice also can also be worn separately as a tunic.
Ferre's passing leaves a legacy of magnificent artful and uniquely constructed high fashion eveningwear. Originally, having studied as an architect, Ferre was the fashion director for the House of Dior in 1989. Ferre's designs were extremely original and architecturally distinctive. Known as the "Frank Lloyd Wright of Italian Fashion," his clothes were always fashioned of the highest quality fabric with a distinct eye for the dramatic. Designed with expert tailoring and construction.
