Spectacular 1920s Apricot Silk Chiffon Evening Dress w/ Mirror Beaded Trim

About the Item

Spectacular 1920s Apricot Silk Chiffon Evening Dress w/ Mirror Beaded Trim: A extraordinary example of the classic Art Deco style dress worn by those ultra-modern "flapper" types like Louise Brooks and Clara Bow! Beautiful pastel peach silk is gathered around a dropped waist with an accentuated pleated front panel with lamé insets. Skirt is tiered and scalloped at hem and heavily embellished with floral shaped faceted mirrored glass beads. Bodice is unlined with a degradé bead pattern settling into a solid beaded waistband. Slip-on chemise style with no closure. Most likely French made. Size 6.
