In this gorgeous 1950's graphic plaid party dress ensemble, the detailed construction and meticulous attention to detail are comparable to what you will find in modern couture. This enchanting garment is fashioned from turquoise, purple and black print polished cotton trimmed in silk-velvet. Reminds me of a dress from "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel"! The bodice is an alluring low-cut plunge, shelf-bust strapless with full boning. I love the hourglass drop-waist bustle back circle-skirt design which channels the perfect New Look silhouette. The stylized charm of the matching shawl personify the feminine ideal in clothing. A truly stunning ensemble and a wonderful example of workmanship from this era.
