Geoffrey Beene Double Faced Wool Crepe and Lame Jacket
About the Item
Deceptively simple and chic jacket from master cutter Geoffrey Beene. Deep chestnut double faced wool crepe is trimmed with his unexpected signature... gold lame. His initial training as a doctor figures into the sinous curved seams one sees constantly in his work. Innovative yet always wearable.
2 faux pockets are formed by the princess seams which curve toward the back and up the shoulder blades. The sleeves are formed by folding the fabric in half at the shoulder and are seamless. A large sinlge faux tortoise button keeps the jacket closed at the neck.
