About

Jeanne Lanvin charcoal grey woollen jacket, circa 1950s. The jacket is exquisitely cut and features a unique wrap around collar appearing as a scarf. The coat also comes with a attachable mink fur collar which is fastened with hooks and snap buttons. Lanvin died in 1946, and the business was taken over by her daughter, who hired Antonio del Castillo in 1950 to design the collection. During this time, the house became known as Lanvin-Castillo.
