About

An exceptional 1920's "light as a feather" black silk-rayon kimono jacket with a finely embroidered colorful floral garden motif. It is easy to find piano shawls, but this is an actual jacket with chic kimono sleeves. To appreciate the masterful design, just look at the beautiful novelty needle-art. Besides the gorgeous embroidery, there is also hand knotted silk fringe throughout the bottom which gives the garment so much depth and texture. The silk-rayon is strong and the cut will fit a variety of sizes. Though this garment would have been meant for the boudoir, it can be mixed into a modern day wardrobe quite flawlessly. An exceptional piece of wearable art!
