Circa 1910-1915 France Evening dress in blue silk chiffon printed with geometric friezes with embroidery of golden rectilinear beads from a fashion house in Lyon. High-waisted cut with asymmetrical bustier by a draped shawl effect crossed on the chest and three-quarter length sleeves in blue chiffon. Straight skirt with pendants of golden and multicolored glass beads on a champagne silk satin underskirt. Two large velvet ribbons underline the waist in the back to effect of mini drag. Provenance: Lyon wardrobe of the Schultz family. Small weaknesses in the silk of the bodice (as always for this period), otherwise no holes or stains, beautiful resistance of the blue muslin. Very good condition of color and conservation. Exhibited and catalogued at the Villa Rosemaine in 2021. Not Wearable, only for collecting or a Museum. Dimensions: presented on a mannequin of size 36 France. The metropolitan fashion houses were the most assiduous followers of the famous Parisian houses that naturally set the tone.
