A truly unique and ultra seductive metallic gold lamé fire-flame showgirl circus dance costume dating back to the mid 1940's. This sensational showstopper is beautifully constructed with sparkling metallic gold lamé appliqued on a high-quality strong nylon mesh. The fabrication is truly gorgeous; prong-set rhinestones are carefully placed around a dramatic fire-flame appliquéd motif with a skilled sheer illusion background. The look is, of course, to make you appear nearly nude while performing! I love the plunging halter necklace that flows into a low backside. Just look at the over-the-top flaming butt! The silhouette is so fresh and strikingly modern. This is such a beautiful museum worthy piece of Vaudeville fashion and showgirl history that will instantly become a favorite in your collection. The pictures say it all. Measurements Bust: 36-38 inches Waist: 28-30 inches Hips: up to 40 inches This1940's American circus dance costume is in excellent condition with no noticeable rips, holes or missing rhinestones. The construction of this garment is impeccable and would make a fantastic stage moment. Perfectly working back metal center zipper. Only signs of wear are the back elastic has stretched out from age but can easily be replaced and a faint stain by the side applique. Please message for detailed pictures. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
