About

There are lots of lovely 1920's garments still around, but every once in a while I come across one that sets my heart a flutter! This is an extraordinarily beautiful and exceptional 1920's metallic gold couture silk-net dance dress and matching evening coat from "Fleurette". This dress shop was the only place in Tientsin that imported high-end garments from Paris. This ensemble is embellished all over with sequins and glass-beads, whose faceted cut creates a dazzling sparkle. The effortless shape really allows one to appreciate the detailed art-deco designs. The dramatic waterfall tiered hemline really sets this set apart from other flapper garments of the time. The pictures say it all!
