About the Item
This lovely Boutique Balmain two-piece ensemble dates back to the 1970s. Made from luxurious Thai silk, the set includes a button-front long sleeve blouse and a pleated skirt, both showcasing a vibrant and multi-colored mixed pattern print.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Balmain made several of his pieces in Thailand of the famous Thai silk.. The original owner of this ensemble transformed the blouse into a "jacket" by having it expertly hemmed and adding pockets. While it can still be tucked in, we have styled it to be worn outside of the skirt. You can also belt it, which creates an entirely different look!
