About the Item
Vintage Emmanuelle Khanh Paris light weight wool blend tie top & wrap skirt set, 2pc set, likely made in the 70s. Made from a light wool blend fabric in a fawn-hued tan, it features open work embroidered florals on both top and skirt. The top fastens with a simple tie and the skirt is wrap style and fastens with an attached tie and snaps. Emmanuelle Khanh, best known for her mod eyewear, led the French New Wave design movement in the 60s.
Incredibly chic and rare, it's lightweight and so easy to wear and style!
Made in Italy. Dry Clean Only. Wool/Nylon blend. Unlined. Tagged size TG 38. Approximate measurements, taken flat and doubled where appropriate:
- Top: shoulders - 16.5in, bust - 37.5in, length - 21in.
- Skirt: waist - 27in, hip - 40in, length - 30in.
Preowned/vintage w/minimal signs of prior use/wear: one snap on skirt is unprofessionally re-attached w/white thread (see last photo).
