About the Item
Brown ditsy floral print skirt suit designed by Jean Desses and produced in the U.S. by I.M. Bagedonow. Approximate circa 1953. Jelly bean shaped buttons at front jacket, skirt fastens at back with a zip and hook and eye.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art has a similar skirt suit from the Jean Desses American Collection by i.m. Bagedonow in their collection.
Hudson's Woodward Shops, Detroit store label at neck, Jean Desses labels at interior front.
No size labels, best fits approximately size 2. See measurements.

Skirt exterior: Excellent condition.
Skirt interior: Very good, some fading to lining.
Jacket exterior: Good. Graying to right underarm area, an expert launderer may be able to minimize this. Much smaller and slighter hard to spot bit of graying at left underarm. Both pictured and only visible if you raise your arms.
