About

A sensational vintage late 1940's or early 1950's 3 piece sunsuit or playsuit designed by Dorothy Cox for McMullen Glen Falls, NY, in green and navy blue plaid cotton! The McMullen Company was known for its tailored women's sportswear and shirts. Marilyn Monroe was one of its customers!
The vintage high waisted shorts button up the side and the bandeau halter tie top can be worn strapless as well! The shirt is perfect to wear when you've had enough sun! There is a 1/4 inch spot on one of the sleeves of the blouse, otherwise, the outfit is in absolutely excellent condition! This playsuit can be worn to the beach or around town - one of our personal favorites! We acquired this incredible outfit from an estate of only the finest designer vintage clothing. We estimate this shorts outfit to be a modern day US size 4 but please use the measurements as a guide.
