Vintage Morris Moskowitz black evening clutch, circa 1950s. This elegant handbag is crafted from richly textured black ribbed faille fabric with a subtle sheen and finished with a sculptural gilt metal frame and kiss-lock closure. The sophisticated silhouette exemplifies the refined glamour that made Morris Moskowitz one of America's most celebrated handbag designers during the mid-20th century. The black satin-lined interior retains its original attached coin purse, a charming and increasingly uncommon period detail. Equally suited for formal occasions or as a collectible vintage accessory, this beautifully designed clutch remains remarkably versatile decades after it was made.
