19th Century Tibetan Flint Striker
$780

About
In 19th century Tibet, many men would have carried a flint pouch along with several other tools that could help ensure survival in the often-harsh climate of the Tibetan Plateau. A flint pouch has a compartment to hold a shard of flint and a dull metal blade at its bottom for striking the flint to create sparks for fire. This leather flint pouch is more elaborate than most, decorated with a silver dorje, a symbol of wisdom.
