China Mid-20th Century Pair of Glazed Porcelain Blue and White Giant Jars

This is a wonderful pair of giant jars with a very beautiful proportion.
The Pho dogs on the cover of the vases, are considered the protectors of the house. The important dimensions allowed them to stand on the floor, or on a half column. For this reason the vases are usually placed on the sides of the entrance.
The ornamental motif, is constituted by blue Pho dogs boluses in a white field.
Place of origin in extremely east China, probabily Japan.
